SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The Dental Imaging Specialist plays a critical role in supporting clinical care teaching and research within the College of Dentistry. The position involves operating advanced dental radiography equipment ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations and supporting dental students and faculty in clinical and research imaging activities. The role requires technical expertise academic engagement and a commitment to patient care and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Radiographic Imaging & Patient Care

• Operate intraoral panoramic (OPG) cephalometric and CBCT machines to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Position patients correctly select appropriate exposure settings and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during imaging procedures.
