Position Overview
Join Skyjack as a Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on afternoon shift support at Plant 2. This role involves tackling production issues and implementing design improvements on-site.
You will report directly to the Design Engineering Supervisor, working within a dedicated team to enhance product quality and resolve functional machine issues. Your dual role includes hands-on time addressing production challenges and engaging in detailed design tasks using SolidWorks. You'll promote efficiency and cost reduction while documenting your engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to solve production line problems
• Manage BOM investigations and resolutions
• Develop and refine design drawings with calculations
• Propose cost-effective design changes and improvements
• Maintain documentation for all engineering projects
