Position Overview
**Kahut Waste Services,** a Waste Connections company, is looking for a skilled **Diesel Mechanic** to work on our truck fleet in **Clackamas, Oregon.**
**Monday - Friday** from **3:00** **PM – 12:00 AM**
Starting wage: **$37.00 - $39.00 HR DOE**
Safety Sensitive Position: **Yes**
Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply.
Commercial Driver’s license A or B CDL is preferred but not required. Or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment with on the job CDL training.
Mechanic tools and tool box required, Shop also has tools onsite to use.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Performs repairs and assignedpreventive maintenanceservices. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
+ Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
