Director of Data Engineering

Salary is 170k to 225k + bonus

This role leads the build and evolution of enterprise data engineering within a P&C insurance environment, combining hands-on technical execution with team leadership. The position focuses on consolidating fragmented legacy and regional data platforms into unified, scalable solutions while designing and delivering robust data pipelines that support underwriting, claims, finance, and regulatory reporting. A key priority is improving and automating financial data processes, including general ledger and reinsurance flows, while ensuring strong data quality, reliability, and operational performance. The role partners closely with business stakeholders and leads a distributed team, while remaining actively involved in architecture, tooling, and delivery.
