Director of Finance (Mexicali)

Description

The Director of Finance/Controller is responsible for all accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Payroll and Cash Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive timely, accurate, and complete submission of all financial data including annual budgeting of income statement and balance sheet, quarterly forecasting and monthly actual financials; understanding and explaining variances in performance to budgets and forecast to all levels of Management as well as advising on actions to achieve improved results.
• Work with Plant Management teams to monitor and control expenses, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as required.
• Track, validate and report cost savings and value creation projects to drive continuous cost improvements.
