Zeeland Public Schools has a great opportunity for a Director of Transportation working at our Transportation Building.


The Director of Transportation will enable each student, through safe and efficient transportation to take full advantage of the complete range of curricular and extra-curricular activities offered by the school district.


Responsibilities:

  • Work as a liaison with state and local law enforcement, conform to all state laws and regulations regarding school transportation and submit reports required by state agencies.

  • Maintain safety standards in conformance with state, federal, local and insurance regulations and develop a program of preventative safety. Complete and respond to insurance reports.

  • Recruit, train and supervise transportation department personnel and make recommendations for their employment, transfer, promotion and release.
