Job Title: Drill Doctor (MAC00460)

Responsible for repair and maintenance of jacklegs, stopers, wilde pumps, loading devices, hand tools, and fixed equipment installations at the Macassa Mine. Performs preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and assists other maintenance personnel. Communicates repair reports and applies 5‑S principles to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair of jacklegs, stopers, wilde pumps, loading devices, and various hand tools
• Install new or overhauled equipment within manufacturer recommendations
• Overhaul and install parts on fixed equipment installations as directed by the Mechanical Supervisor
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, conduct routine inspections, and maintain safety standards
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment within planned time frames
