Role Overview

Fixed term maternity leave cover – 6 months, 35 hours per week. This position is part of a thoughtfully designed early childhood learning environment where learning is brought to life through strong, meaningful relationships, play‑based exploration, and responsive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and guide the educational journey of each child using Te Whāriki.
• Document and share high‑quality assessments to celebrate child progress.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere that prioritises belonging.
• Collaboratively build positive relationships across the team.
• Maintain a safe, beautiful environment where child wellbeing is the priority.

Qualifications

• Recognised New Zealand ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
