6 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose To undertake statutory educational psychology assessments for children and young people, providing high-quality psychological advice and recommendations to support the Local Authority in meeting its statutory responsibilities for Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments. Key Responsibilities Complete statutory educational psychology assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance. Produce high-quality psychological advice and assessment reports within agreed timescales. Gather and analyse information from children, families, schools, and other professionals to inform assessments. Provide evidence-based recommendations to support educational planning and outcomes. Work collaboratively with schools, parents, carers, and multi-agency professionals throughout the assessment process.
