Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment
- Prepare wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts and instrument schedules
- Assist with PLC and control system integration
- Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities on site when required
- Ensure designs comply with SANS, IEC and site specifications
- Collaborate with mechanical, process and project engineering teams
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews
- Liaise with suppliers on component selection and procurement
- BEng Electrical or BSc Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical and instrumentation design within mining, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
