Position Overview

            Roles & Responsibilities  Performs activities related to the electrical works and maintenance needed onboard vessels 
Systems / power generation / backup power source / fire detection system and safety system for 2 stroke or 4 stroke engines 
Assist to guide onboard service engineers on the task which require electrical engineers' competencies so as to operate and maintain electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic/electro-pneumatic/automation systems efficiently. 
Termination works on vessel / Trouble shooting of 4 stroke generator safety system / Electrical governors would be value added 
Advise customers / Supt, the need of shore assistance or need to procure spares in case defects of equipment failures which cannot be resolved thru onboard attendance. 
Carry out on board attendance in liaison with the Service manager 
Provide work done report and submit to service managers
