What You Will DoThis position will be filled at either the Engineered Systems Tec 3 or 4 level, depending on the skills of the selected candidate. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level.The Test Engineering Group (V-14) supports the national security and nuclear deterrent missions by providing high-quality empirical evidence through the execution and assessment of weapons system and component testing. We are looking for a candidate to support the Thermal and Mechanical Testing Team in V-14.The successful candidate will work in test labs alongside R&D Engineers and Engineering Technologists, and be hands-on with large equipment to include maintenance and troubleshooting test equipment.
