ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Repair Department, Extended Refit Period (ERP) Support Team Code 304 of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities You will utilize in-depth knowledge of testing and evaluation in SSBN engineering/maintenance providing technical and test planning oversight. You will serve as the technical expert in HME testing for availability certification. You will be accountable for updating the Integrated Work Schedule to accurately reflect testing timelines based on system and/or components for all HME work. You will have technical and management responsibility for all phases of Extended Refit Period (ERP) work in connection with ship’s force testing of HME equipment for assigned maintenance periods.
