Position Overview

            Job Responsibilities Guides and mentors new Assistant Nurses in their duties. 
Performs nursing procedures e.g. surgical dressing, feeding and bathing of residents. 
Check residents daily in the morning and treat residents for sores, ring worms and scabies, and refer sick residents to the Medical Room. 
Assist staff nurse to observe residents with minor ailments e.g. diarrhea, headache and report to Senior Staff Nurse / Staff Nurse for referral to consult Doctor. 
Observes/cares for sick residents in the sick bay. 
Clean and disinfect all instruments used during dressing. 
Clean and disinfect skin treatment room daily. 
Packing of medicine for residents to be done a day in advance. 
Serves milk (ENSURE) drinks to weak and under-weight residents. 
Assists in physiotherapy exercises (if needed).
