Equine Groom & Training Rider

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, groom, and care for horses daily.
• Monitor horse health and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes.
• Assist with horse cooling-down and recovery after training or exercise.
• Maintain clean, comfortable stables, stalls, paddocks, and bedding.
• Assist trainers during training sessions and prepare horses with appropriate tack and equipment.
• Lead, lunge, and handle horses safely and confidently; support warm-up and cool-down activities as required; ride horses as part of structured exercise and training programs.
• Clean and maintain saddles, bridles, tack, and related equipment; store equipment safely and in good condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of barns, arenas, and surrounding facilities; perform general yard duties and organize work areas.
