POSITION INFO:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding who enjoys negotiating rates, preparing quotations and working in a fast-paced environment. Duties: Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, co loaders and subcontractors. Negotiate competitive rates with service providers. Liaise with the customs department regarding HS Codes and duty confirmations when required. Acknowledge RFQs received from clients and provide regular updates throughout the quotation process. Prepare and generate accurate quotations using CargoWise. Ensure successful quotations are handed over seamlessly to the operations team for execution.
