Position Overview
Oglethorpe Power Headquarters, Tucker, GA 30084, US | Hourly | Pay will be based on completed credit hours. | Co Op
+ Co-op is responsible for assisting the Sr. Reliability Engineer in data collection and reporting for thermal performance analysis and identifying equipment reliability issue trends.
+ May assist with project to determine equipment failures and performance root cause analysis.
+ Work directly with the Sr. Reliability Engineer on power plant performance and equipment issues and project development which includes traveling to facilities across Georgia.
+ Will compile data, complete trending analysis and support publishing report results and presentations.
+ This role will provide an opportunity to gain experience and expand real-world knowledge in the power generation industry utilizing gas turbines and steam turbines technologies in simple-cycle and combined-cycle configurations.
