Role & Facility Information

Job Title: Rural Family Practitioner Facility: Sparling East Medical Centre – a 9‑physician clinic located on Fernie’s main street, 7 minutes from Fernie Alpine Resort. The clinic is supported by a maternity nurse, chronic disease nurse, mental wellness clinician, occupational therapist, social worker and respiratory therapist, providing on‑site allied care and culturally safe services.

Location: Fernie, BC – a community in the Canadian Rockies, rich in outdoor recreation, culture, and a supportive medical network. The physician will also provide emergency coverage at Elk Valley Hospital, a 20‑bed rural hospital serving Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford and surrounding areas.
