Financial controller

Lexdan Select is assisting a high-growth FMCG business in the food and beverage industry with their search for a Financial Controller based in Springs, Johannesburg. This role allows for some flexibility, but is mostly office based.

Duties & Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, purchase order authorisation, bank reconciliations, and payment cycles Develop and implement financial SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks from the ground up Manage system implementation and optimisation across the ERP and reporting platforms Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for local and international stakeholders Oversee revenue recognition, rebate calculations, and retailer-specific accounting Ensure compliance with South African tax legislation, including company tax calculations Lead contract reviews and negotiations, supporting the business through tender processes and flagging legal risk areas Manage...
