Fitter

Location: Spokane, WA

Pay Range: $22.00 – $31.00 per hour plus $3.00/hr shift diff

Day Shift: Monday–Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am


Overview

We are seeking experienced Fitters to join a structural fabrication team in Spokane, WA. Fitters play a key role in the layout, assembly, and fitting of steel components for large fabrication projects. Responsibilities

  • Use measuring tools, squares, and tapes to lay out and fit structural steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings
  • Tack parts into place using welding equipment to prepare for final welds
  • Burn and cut steel using an oxy-fuel cutting torch as needed for fitting and assembly
