Position Overview
Job Description
You will work as part of a small team of painters to prepare and refinish railway carriages, and components, both internally and externally in line with the requirements of livery schemes or component overhaul specifications through the application of paint, vinyls, labels and other refinishing techniques. Essential Criteria • Recognised Vehicle Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Preparation and Refinishing or Vehicle Spray Painting or equivalent.
• Experience in spray painting vehicles. Desirable Criteria • NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Preparation and Refinishing or Vehicle Spray Painting or equivalent.
