Formulation Scientist

Job Description

CapiraRX, a Lahore-based pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Formulation Scientist to design robust formulations, support scale-up, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role reports to the R&D Lead and collaborates with analytical, regulatory, manufacturing, and quality teams to translate candidate molecules into stable, manufacturable dosage forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development for oral solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms, including prototype design, excipient selection, and compatibility studies.
• Optimize processes using Design of Experiments (DoE) and systematic experimental planning to improve bioavailability, stability, and manufacturability.
• Support analytical and stability testing by defining acceptance criteria and interpreting results to refine formulations.
