Position Overview
- Working as an implant at the client's location to assist with shipping and logistics
- Forecasting and planning shipments using the materials expedite report
- Work with the client's suppliers to arrange for the pickup of the cargo and to find an appropriate sailing for the consignment.
- Check in with foreign offices regarding freight costs, reservations, and the progress of shipments.
- Shipment activation, shipping documentation preparation, and UDR assignment
- Getting import and export licenses ready for customs reports
- Track the status of shipments every day and notify the appropriate parties on a regular basis.
- Attend the shipment status meeting with the client and give updates.
- Timely preparation of the quote and bills for the client's billing
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of tenders with the local and international offices.
