Description

We are seeking a Gaming Mathematician to join our studio in Durban, South Africa. This is an onsite role requiring daily attendance at the office for an initial 12 month contract with potential renewal. The role sits at the intersection of statistical precision and creative product design and will define how our games behave and how players experience them. Subcontractor budget: R450/hr.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting edge mathematical models that define the statistical characteristics of our games.


• Iterate designs to ensure the intended player experience matches what the mathematics delivers.


• Write software to calculate, simulate, and verify the accuracy of mathematical models.
