DEPARTMENT:

•   Turf Care REPORTS TO : Director of Agronomy/Superintendent/Asst.

Superintendent FLSA :

• Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the maintenance operation of the golf course and associated grounds.


• Adheres to all St Ives policies and procedures.
• This is an entry level position designed to teach the basics in overall course/grounds care.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates basic mowing equipment and hand tools.

Performs bunker maintenance:

• rakes, moves sand, proper edging and pulls weeds.


• Ensures all areas around trees, bunkers, cart paths and signs are maintained and edged.
• Plants and waters plants/trees as necessary.
• Watering greens and assisting with irrigation repair.

Maintains course set up:

• cup cutting, tee clean up, divot filling, trash pick up....
