Position Overview

Job Summary Fine Dining Restaurant blending modern Afro‑French Fusion at a 5* Hotel near Lusaka is seeking a Head Chef to lead the outlet’s kitchen, create menus, manage staff, inventory and operations, and integrate culinary expertise with beverage pairing knowledge. Key Responsibilities Ensure guests receive individualized care, meeting dietary requirements and preparing meals accordingly. Maintain food quality standards and uphold the brand’s reputation. Report complaints, comments, and operational requirements promptly. Maintain internal communication with other departments. Develop seasonal, fresh, and organic menus in line with the restaurant’s vision and standards. Review menus and dishes and meet deadlines for new menu releases. Ensure meticulous menu prep and training, identifying training needs. Conduct weekly meetings with the Hotel Manager for planning and feedback.
