Position Overview
Job Title: Highways Support Officer
Location: Winchester/Hybrid
Contract Type: Temporary - 6 Months initially with potential to be extended or become permanent
Salary: £14.40
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Job Purpose
As a Highways Support Officer, you will play a vital dual role within the Business Operations Team, supporting both the Enforcement & Licence Team and the Claims Team. This position combines customer service, administrative processing, and investigative work to ensure that Hampshire Highways delivers its statutory responsibilities efficiently and professionally.
In the Claims Team you will be required to critically assess the validity of the information held. From that point, you will be required to interrogate the history of the incident to identify a factual account of events and build up a full picture.
