Position Overview

Overview:
This position will support the workforce for matters and questions pertaining to Human Resources functions including greeting visitors to the Norfolk HR Department, will be cross-trained to assist with basic data entry and maintenance in HR Information Systems, preparing, processing, maintaining and controlling personnel documents, status changes, correspondence, and assisting with employee benefits, including but not limited to Workers Compensation, health, vision, and dental benefits, retirement plans, and FMLA.
Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator is the first point of contact for general inquiries in the Norfolk HR office. This position scans and maintains data entries into Laserfiche document management system. This position maintains leave and management tracking (i.e. FMLA, STD, LTD and Workers Compensation), including coordination with third party administrators and reporting to HR Management.
