Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Under direction of the Manager, HR, implement company and business unit HR strategies, programs and processes
  • Support leaders in interpreting policies and resolving employee relations matters
  • Handle personnel complaints/concerns and participate in their resolution
  • Work with hiring managers to develop and execute staffing plans, initiate recruitment, prepare job descriptions and assess job level/salary ranges
  • Administer short/long term disability and Workers comp claims
  • Monitor training/development needs, participate in the development of plans/programs, support implementation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems/practices
  • Support administration of collective bargaining agreement
  • Support all aspects relating to corporate benefits package
