Position Overview

Summary

: Plans, implements, and administers policies relating to all phases of human resource activities (including recruitment and selection, policy/practices, discipline, personnel issues, compensation, training and development, performance management, health and safety, benefits, and legal compliance) by performing the following duties. Essential Functions:
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply.
  • Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
