Indigenous Inclusion Consultant

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Community Initiatives Manager, Social Development Section, the Indigenous Inclusion Consultant will identify and implement strategies for meaningful engagement of Indigenous communities and organizations on a range of issues, particularly in the area of sport, culture, recreation and leadership including coordinating and facilitating initiatives and maintaining effective relationships with various external stakeholders, particularly in Indigenous communities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development, delivery, implementation and evaluation of the Indigenous social, culture, recreation, and leadership programs.
• Selects, directs, supervises, schedules, trains, develops and evaluates assigned staff.
