Position Overview

Responsibilities

  1. Provide instruction in the instrumentation engineering technology program.
  2. Prepare for and use appropriate delivery methods for instructional assignments.
  3. Manage his/her classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
  4. Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recording student progress.
  5. Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering Technology or Interprovincial Journeyperson Instrumentation and Control Technician in Saskatchewan or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two years’ recent/relevant experience (two years in the last five) in Instrumentation.
  • Member of or eligible for certification with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS) as an P. Tech. or APEGS as a P.Eng.
