The Company

Our client is a chemicals MNC , now establishing a new R&D lab in Singapore . The lab will focus primarily on coatings and additives , supporting innovation across Southeast Asia and China. This newly created role sits at the centre of regional IP creation, collaboration management, and patent strategy.

Responsibilitie

• sPartner with scientists to capture inventions, assess disclosures, and guide innovations through the patent process
• .Manage IP activities for chemical compounds, formulations, and applications developed in the new Singapore lab
• .Support patent drafting, procurement, and portfolio development (legal degree not required)
• .Conduct IP analytics, including patentability, freedom‑to‑operate, and competitive landscape reviews
• .Maintain and update the regional IP pipeline across SEA and China, ensuring alignment with business and global IP teams
