Intermediate Environmental Scientist - Calgary

Overview

Working closely with Project Managers to perform environmental monitoring activities such as groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, air monitoring, test pitting, borehole drilling, well installation, surveying, construction environmental monitoring, data tabulation, data interpretation and coordination with field subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety plans and quality processes on all work, projects, and reports.
• Write quick, transparent, concise reports, clearly describing observations and work activities.
• Provide regular succinct phone or e‑mail communications to senior staff from the field.
• Coordinate with field subcontractors.
• Perform groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, air monitoring, test pitting, borehole drilling, well installation, surveying, construction monitoring, data tabulation and interpretation.
