Intern, Cell Line Development / Upstream Process Development - Hummingbird Bioscience
Full-time internship – (SG) based location
ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an intern to join the Cell line Development/ Upstream Process Development team. This will enable the individual to learn skills associated with antibody drug development, both in terms of cell line development workflows and process development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform aseptic handling in a biosafety cabinet (BSC)
- Perform cell culture in shake flasks and bioreactor handling on a routine basis
- Perform cell culture analysis with manual hemacytometer or automated cell counting methods, and metabolite analysers on a routine basis
- Perform chromatography purification, including affinity and Multi-Modal Chromatography, using AKTA systems
- Prepare cell culture media, purification buffers for various process development steps
