Inventory Control Coordinator

Responsible for overseeing the proper handling of inventory control for the Food Safety Distribution Department

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Responsible for leading team of cycle counters and guiding them in their daily job duties

Ensure all users are properly trained in inventory databases and proper inventory control procedures

Coordinate with leadership and peers to ensure inventory accuracy.

Ensure Lot # and expiration sensitive inventory is processed first in first out and bring awareness to proper channels when product is nearing expiration.

Conduct regularly scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts. Report findings and discrepancies to Inventory Control Manager.

Create ad hoc inquires to extract inventory information for relevant departments and personnel.
