Position Overview
Become an integral part of FVCL as an Ophthalmic Technician. Provide critical patient support and care in Abbotsford and Chilliwack with comprehensive training.
FVCL is looking for a motivated Ophthalmic Technician to join its expanding team. You will receive full training in Abbotsford over 90 days and subsequently work in both Abbotsford and Chilliwack. If you're detail-oriented and passionate about healthcare, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients with professionalism and courtesy
• Process billing, receive payments, and issue invoices
• Book and coordinate appointments for patients
• Assist physicians in daily requirements
• Monitor patient lab results and arrange follow-ups
Requirements:
• Quick learner willing to adapt to clinic operations
• Prior ophthalmic experience is advantageous
• Experience with the Accuro EMR system is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills required
