What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Junior Estimator will be responsible for the generation of accurate and timely cost estimates for assigned projects. The Estimator will deliver properly organized estimates, budgets, and schedules, while managing Aecon’s risk. The Junior Estimator will also be responsible for tracking project financial performance upon award.

What You’ll Do Here:

• Responsible for the overall financial performance of projects awarded.
• Analyze documents, specifications, proposals, addendums in preparation for pricing.
• Perform any estimate related oral and/or written communications with clients.
• Review project site prior to price preparation.
• Obtain input from Operations staff as appropriate.
• Perform quantity take-off from construction drawings where applicable.
