Position Overview
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will be responsible for delivering effective classroom and field-based training and assessments. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Provide classroom and field-based health, safety, and mobile equipment training in accordance with training plans;
Evaluate worker competency in both theoretical and practical applications;
Assist trainees by providing ongoing mentoring to attain higher levels of competency;
Take ownership of health and safety issues using the Internal Responsibility System (IRS);
Undertake regular reviews of curriculum and update as may be required to ensure effective delivery and adherence to legislation and site safe work practices;
