Junior Analytics Engineer (SQL, Python) - Cape Town - up to R660k per annum

Our client is looking for a Junior Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable data models and analytics pipelines. In this role, you will contribute to delivering high-quality business intelligence by building strong data foundations that support reporting, analytics, and informed decision-making across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-structured, and well-documented data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement relational, dimensional, and domain-specific semantic data models, applying strong data normalization principles.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize analytics pipelines using dbt, SQLMesh, or similar modern transformation tools.
