Position Overview

A busy, well established seafood restaurant in the Cape Peninsula is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to take charge of the kitchen. This is a high volume, seafood focused operation where consistency and standards matter every single service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and service flow.
  • Manage and mentor kitchen staff across all sections.
  • Handle stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene compliance at all times.
  • Control food costs and minimise wastage.
  • Ensure consistent plating and quality standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling and rostering.
  • Work closely with management on menu execution and costing.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years experience in a professional kitchen, with management experience.
  • Strong, essential experience working with seafood.
