Position Overview
The L1 System Engineer is responsible for:
Responsibilities- Provide 24x7 support for Data Center running on 12 hour shifts
- Assist the Customer in verification, isolation and provision of a temporary workaround for the incident/problem logged
- Resolve the incident/problem onsite
- Escalate unsolvable problems and service requests to the System and/or Software Engineer and report the escalation to the Project Manager
- Generate the relevant administrative records and reports
- Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Add, remove, or update user account information and reset passwords
- Answer technical queries
- Maintain the configuration of the system
- Implement Service Request and Change Request
- Contact OEM/Vendor for technical support
