Lead Database Engineer

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• L2/L3 skillset including install, configure, upgrade, patch and harden Oracle database on multiple platforms (Linux/Windows, On Premise/Cloud).
• Proven expertise in configure and maintain data replication using Quest SharePlex.
• L2 skill in MSSQL including install, configure, update, and patching of the Database.
• Support databases in high availability and disaster recovery set‑up.
• Monitor and analyze database performance, and tune operating system to improve performance and optimize processing response time or reflect required changes in the processing environment.
• Perform capacity study to analyze current resource utilization and estimate future requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures for the installation and secure operation of databases; support internal and external audit exercises for the maintenance of various certifications and...
