Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Whole School Literacy Lead, take a lead role within the school to working as School Librarian with literacy intervention to address needs of students who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

• To take a lead role in managing the School Library as a resource base, general upkeep including displays
• To prepare and work with Literacy Lead to establish Library Policy and development plan
• To work with small groups of students as identified for literacy intervention
• To develop and maintain resources related to reading (e.g., Library, Accelerated Reader) so that they are suitable and readily accessible to all students at ...
