Light Distillate Trader

Job Description

The Light Distillate Trader is responsible for developing and executing integrated physical and/or derivatives trading strategies in the Asia/East‑of‑Suez Light Distillate markets (Gasoline/NGL/LPG), optimizing Chevron’s system and third‑party opportunities to deliver profitable results. The role combines physical trading (cargoes, term/spot supply, blending economics, and logistics interface) with paper trading (swaps/futures) to manage exposure within risk limits, supported by strong market fundamentals, rapid decision‑making, and strict adherence to compliance and Operational Excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade physical Naphtha, Mogas and components (spot and term) in East‑of‑Suez markets to optimize Chevron’s positions and generate profit, including third‑party activity where value‑accretive.
