Position Overview
Overview
As a Maintenance Control Duty Engineer you will be responsible for tactical management of fleet health oversight and management of technical and operational events outside of the main base. You will provide technical support and guidance to outstation engineering teams and support Network operations to manage recovery from disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor aircraft status based on outstation feedback and aircraft health monitoring tools and advise concerned stakeholders for necessary corrective action, ensuring highest levels of safety, airworthiness and compliance.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer Maintenance Control Centre to manage, control and coordinate all outstation aircraft‑on‑ground situations.
- Issue dispensations and concessions in line with known operational and engineering safety practices, where necessary.
