MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

Summary This position is located in Carlsbad Caverns National Park. This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment. Responsibilities At the full performance level (WS-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Provide technical and administrative supervision over subordinates performing various trades and labor occupations such as Maintenance Mechanic, Electrician, Mason, Utility Systems Repairer-Operator, Plumber, Wood Crafter, Carpenter, etc. 2. Provide professional and technical support and knowledge on utilities, trades, and crafts such as electrical, HVAC, potable water system operation, drainage, storm and sanitary sewer systems, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting, trails, grounds keeping and janitorial services. 3.
