Maintenance Technician

SGD is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment calibration, and reliability improvement. The role will be reporting to the Manager: Industrial and Production Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and servicing to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure equipment is maintained according to OEM standards and best practices.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or control system failures quickly and efficiently.
• Support root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during repairs.
