Position Overview

            IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:  Be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Physical Operations (X-Dock) 
Determine physical operation (X-Dock) - (warehouse, terminal and trucking) operating standards, develop appropriate systems and determine manpower usage and requirements 
Ensure optimum utilization of equipment and materials planning, organizing the maintenance and inventory control methods of these resources 
Develop strong inter-departmental communication to ensure effective coordination with other related departments 
Ensure that customers’ freight do not deteriorate whilst under DHL care by enforcing compliance to proper handling/transporting procedure 
Ensure that all staff are aware of the service standards required and are able to perform effectively by providing on-the-job guidance, training and direction 
Be the main PIC for any warehouse system enhancement and maintenance
