Clothing Assistant Manager – Grade: 12 (NQF Level 4). Responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of a Pick n Pay clothing department, supporting the Store Manager, ensuring excellent customer service, merchandising standards and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Management – assist the Store Manager with staff scheduling, recruitment, training, performance management, talent planning and succession.
  • Daily Operations & Stock Management – open and close the store securely, conduct start‑and‑end of day reporting, manage inventory, oversee merchandising, control shrinkage, maintain OHS standards.
  • Sales & Promotions – promote sales to achieve budgets, monitor turnover, implement markdowns and return to catalog strategies, execute promotional plans.
